I don't know what's going on here. And I really wish my scanner wouldn't make everything pink.

If you'd like to get rid of the pink from your scanner--open up the image in photoshop. Then go into edit and adjustments. click on levels. (or just use ctrl C I think...) then slide the right most slider till the very edge of the first black mountain peak.(sliding to the left) now slide the middle slider to the right edge of that mountain. voila. clean! (I hope that made sense...you can just ask me about it and i'll show at school some time...)
