Now Guilt Free!

Some tv sketches. I was too late to go get any ice cream. But mmm DQ!

Some real-estate game-show people. Who kinda look like zombies. Especially the one with the twitchy eye.

I don't know what's going on here. And I really wish my scanner wouldn't make everything pink.

Guilt Factor

So far the best thing about this blog is that it makes me feel guilty for not drawing - which makes me go draw, which is what I'm going to go do right now. And eat some ice cream.

Good Shepherd Heads

I watched "The Good Shepherd" on PPV last night. Long movie. Kinda boring, and not the type I'm good with 'cause of all the time shifting and stuff. So I sketched a bit. The girl in the middle isn't really supposed to look like anybody.

Accepted!

It's official - I made it, and I now have a letter to prove it! As of September I'll be part of Capliano College's Commercial Animation Program and I could not be happier about that. I just had the best feeling walking into the first years' room when I took the night school class last semester. The portfolio was a lot of work but totally worth it :o)

Portfolio characters

For the application to Cap College you need to have some characters you've made up - these are some sketches of the ones I've submitted.

And some fishies too

My Katy

She's more of my mom's cat than mine. But she's pretty cute. I don't really like working in pencil crayons, but that's what I used for this.

And some paintings

These are oil paintings from a painting class I took last year. Which I guess sort of explains the strange, varied subject matter. But just sort of.

Some portfolio stuff

I've been agonizing over this stuff for a few months, trying to get into animation school - thought I'd join the club and put up a sketchblog!
